If you’ve received text messages about an unpaid toll balance you owe that doesn’t seem quite right, you are not alone. These texts are part of a scam scheme aimed at accessing your money and personal information– and the FTC has issued new tips to protect yourself from these scammers. The toll scam is one of a few circulating – including one that has been around for a while– an unsolicited text saying the postal service needs a response from you regarding a package delivery.
