INFO:
Welcome to MUSAN- the Museum of Underwater Sculptures Ayia Napa. This place is otherworldly, a creative landscape on sea floor that hosts 93 unique artworks, in itself cultivating an ever changing environment by creating a new home to sea life and thriving corals. As per the founding artists (jasondecairestaylor ‘s) preference, these pieces aren’t to be interfered with or touched. The idea being that when transformed by nature in a slow evolution towards of a thriving marine garden, be it with coral or sea moss - it becomes a new form of art. Just like we see in sunken ships or even an abandoned house in a forest, spaces can always be expected to transform when left in thriving environments. Seen to be believed in @visitcypruscom ‘s Ayia Napa, Mediterranean Sea. These sculptures, including these trees, were once a sparkling silver, reminiscent of the moon - and now a sea moss green and orange, reflective of autumn leaves. One could even say they are forming a life like character more realistic as times turned.
